Thanks for choosing K Health and speaking with us today. We’re here to help you get the care you need. As discussed, I strongly suspect your child has a UTI and a urine culture is an important part of the treatment process. As such, I’ve ordered urine studies for your child. Once notified that they’ve been dropped off at the lab, we can start antibiotic treatment. Here are your next steps:

  1. Visit a Quest or LabCorp near you as soon as possible. They have thousands of locations. It does not matter which location you choose, so pick wherever is most convenient or has the soonest availability.
  2. As soon as you drop off the sample, return to the K Health app. Open your “Chats” tab and select the latest chat you were in with your doctor. You will answer a few follow up questions, then be connected to the next available provider who will be able continue helping you.
  3. Share a photo of your receipt from the lab in the chat The doctor will then  send a prescription to your pharmacy.
  4. Keep an eye out for a message from your K Health doctor in 24-48 hours with your test results. You can then rejoin the chat to speak with a doctor about the results, confirm the need for antibiotics, and make sure your child is on the right one.
